I attended the University of Pittsburgh and received my Ph.D. from Oregon State University in Molecular & Cellular Biology with a concentration in Molecular Evolution, Virology, and Genomics. I have over 10 years of experience in scientific research in cancer and immunology, as well as working with students from high school through the graduate level. Not only did I teach at Oregon State, but I even learned principles in the art of teaching which has made me a more effective tutor. I enjoy tutoring subjects in the field of Science such as Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Science, Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, Evolutionary Biology, Molecular Biology, and General Biology. I have worked with students who have different styles of learning and can adapt to all different styles. I not only work with students on scientific concepts but love to work with students on analytical thinking and on show theming them how these concepts can be related to real world experiences. This makes the material much more relatable if they can associate the concepts with other areas of life. I reside in Corvallis, Oregon and am absolutely passionate about the Pittsburgh Pirates.
