I prefer one-on-one or small group tutoring, but I do have 4 years of experience in a classroom setting. In recent years I have been working at a dual-immersion elementary school in Corvallis teaching literacy, math and science skills in Spanish and English. I have tutored in Spanish at a collegiate level, and have tutored Portuguese in a small-group and classroom setting (as a teacher aide). I am passionate about Spanish and introducing culture into lessons, including music, news, and films. I will work to create tailored lessons that are either focused on narrow specific goals (like building vocabulary for a specific profession) or that broadly touch on many language goals. I am also open to helping with Conversational English, help on essays/assignments in English and English as a Second Language lessons. I am 30 years old and currently working as a substitute teacher. I like working with many different age groups. One of my biggest strengths, and something I've really enjoyed, has been working with other teachers from all over the Spanish-speaking world, so I love to introduce oral skills and familiarize students with different accents. I look forward to working with any interested students.

- Language study and language learning have been long-time interests of mine. I have at spent the most time on Spanish, 3.5 years of Portuguese, and 2 years of Arabic. - I love spending time outdoors hiking or running with my dog. - Music is a big passion for me. I play string instruments and listen to musical styles from all over the globe.
